Thank you for you interest in applying for one of the ISPAD Travel Grants! Like every year, ISPAD is keen on offering as many possibilities as possible to attend its conference and be part of the ISPAD community. Please find below the two types of Travel Grants you can apply for:
To be eligible for a grant, the applicant must:
- Be an ISPAD Member (all dues paid)
- Be the first author of an abstract
- Be an ISPAD Young/Early-Stage Investigator (under age 40 or within 7 years of completing their terminal research degree )
The recipients of an ISPAD Standard Travel Grant will receive a fixed sum based on the geographic area they will be travelling from.

To be eligible for this grant, you must:
- Be an ISPAD Member (all dues paid)
- Be the first author of an abstract
- Be an ISPAD Young/Early-Stage Investigator (under age 40 or within 7 years of completing their terminal research degree)
You must also fulfill one of these criteria:
- be a resident from a low or lower-middle income country (as per World Bank Index)
- or work as an allied HCP (Educator, Nurse, Dietitian or other healthcare Professional)
- or be a Patient Advocate
Successful applicants will have the following costs covered by ISPAD: registration, flight, and accommodation.
Physicians, Healthcare Professionals, and Patient Advocates are all welcome to apply.
*Please note that the Standard Travel Grants may not cover all travel costs. Travel grant awardees still need to pay registration fees and need to arrange their travel and accommodation. The Standard Travel Grants will be issued to successful applicants after the conference. All successful applicants will be required to complete and return a reimbursement form plus travel invoices and participation proof.
